In cooperation with the leading German manufacturer GreCon, we install, service and maintain spark detection and extinguishing systems. These systems are the only real preventive solution for fire prevention. If they are performed in accordance with the applicable EU regulations, they allow for a significant reduction in the insurance premiums of plants or factories.
The physical principle of detecting a glowing particle is to ‘capture’ the spectrum of infrared (IC) radiation in the pipeline that glowing particles (sparks) emit. The detectors are located on the outside of the pipeline and ‘look’ into its interior through the openings. Behind the detectors, at a calculated distance, the nozzles of a stable shutdown system operated by the switchboard are placed, acting on the electrical valves.
By installing this type of protection system, it significantly reduces the likelihood of fires in the silo and by installing it, insurance companies regularly approve significantly lower insurance premiums.
